Colourful, Traditional Marquees, Big Tops, Little Tops and tensile structures are what we do. Traditional marquees, unlike frame tents, incorporate the canvas cover as part of the strength of their structure -hence, they are considered tensile structures. With the appropriate fixing they can withstand fairly ferocious winds, as time can attest. The tradition of using poles, ropes and canvas to create outdoor circus, festival, fair and wedding venues, has not been superseded. Frame tents have their place, being fairly low, modular structures, but they lack, in my view, the curves, strength and spatial qualities of a tensile built tent. A traditionally built big top, little top or marquee may also be far quicker to erect. We use traditional designs, top quality fabrics along with some very ingenious tensile software to create sweeping, atmospheric tensile venues. We can create a festival atmosphere at a wedding with a colourful canvas twin pole little top, a cabaret feel at a festival with an intimate baby circus tent, a splendid venue for a music night with a cupola big top, an opulent environment for an award ceremony or just a pretty backdrop of covered space to celebrate a party in anywhere.
